The dustbin is easily removed and empty which is great as you’ll need to do this on a regular basis.
It’s easy to set it up as well, but I do recommend fully charging the X8 Hybrid before running it for the first time. You’ll have to install the Eufy Home app and follow the instructions to connect it to your Wi-Fi network. Once you’ve done that, the app will help you create an accurate map of your home. You can label the rooms, split large spaces into sub-rooms to make it easier for open-plan living, and direct the X8 Hybrid towards specific areas that require cleaning at a certain time. Eufy’s app is more user-friendly and precise than other robots that have similar scanning and mapping capabilities.

The X8 Hybrid, like many robotic vacuums has some problems with floors that are not fully covered. It’s not as quiet as other models we’ve tested, and the whirring sounds can be distracting.

The robot doesn’t have as many features as some of the more expensive models we’ve tested, but it has all the essentials. It has a huge enough dust bin that can hold plenty of dirt until it’s time to empty it and its mop and vacuum system is great for carpets that are hard and low-pile. It’s also extremely quiet. We were able to watch television while it was cleaning without feeling like we were constantly bombarded by the sound.
Our testers loved how easy it was to set up and use, and they were impressed with its ability to get all the mess out of their floors. It was successful in picking up pet hair, messes and carpeting however it was more difficult in removing stubborn stains. They found the app easy to use and intuitive, and they could schedule the vacuum to clean on a regular basis to cut down on the amount they had to manually do. The only drawback is that it does not have any mapping technology or object avoidance, which means you can’t send it to specific rooms or follow virtual boundaries (though magnetic boundary strips can be used).

It’s also a great budget option for those who want a more intelligent, self-emptying robot vacuum that can take care of pet messes and hair on hardwood floors or low-pile carpeting. It’s also extremely quiet and has a huge dust bin which can hold a lot of dust before it needs to be emptied.
While the V3S Pro didn’t earn a place in our top picks compilations from reliable sources that conduct tests with hands-on, it received high marks from reviewers at Modern Castle, Smart Robot Reviews and The Ambient.
