“Into the Deep” is a decent episode, but it’s not the most impressive example of Season 2’s promise. The main plot is good. However, Emma’s attitude is a bit self-centered for what she is trying to portray as realistic. Is she the only one who has magical light?
I’m certain Emma is thrilled to be free of Hook but I can’t see her getting over her attraction to Hook. She’s tempted to move to New York but is afraid of the love of her life and happiness. She believes that Killian left because of her fear. Is it worth taking the risk?
Emma discovers that her family members kept secrets from her. When she arrives home, she finds that the canonizing cuff that keeps people from being magically cursed has been given to her by someone. She also discovers a knife that was hidden within.
The episode is decent However, School I’m not convinced that the novelty is worth the effort. If you’re only interested in the mythical ‘Hat Trick’ then this isn’t the episode for Natural you.
