1. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni robot vacuum-mop is the most recent in the Ecovacs range of hybrid robot vacuum mops. This model that is dry and wet comes with the upgraded AIVI 3D2.0 lidar system Ecovacs, which gives improved mapping and obstruction avoidance. The system is dual-laser LiDAR — similar to what is used in self-driving cars and is able to scan up to 32 feet wide by 270 degrees. This translates to more precise mapping, faster response times, as well as better cleaning accuracy.
It also has a rotating mopping pad constructed of chenille, which makes it much easier to scrub difficult spots as opposed to traditional mop. Like other Ecovacs products the X2 Omni is easy to set up and start using. It takes only a few minutes to put the dock in position, plug it in and connect to your Wi-Fi network at home. Then, you can launch the app and start with your first cleaning task. I was able to dig into the settings and personalize my floor plan within about 15 minutes, incorporating specific areas for sweeping and mopping, reworking my wall-mounted furniture placements, and more. The X2 Omni was impressive during my tests. It scored high in the areas of pet hair removal as well as debris removal, and also was near-perfect in its results for edge and crevices cleaning.
2. Deebot T10 Omni
If you need a powerful combination of mopping and vacuuming look into the EcoVACS Deebot Omni. It also has an auto-emptying 3L bag that’s easy to replace and hot air drying for quick and simple maintenance. It also has a large tank of water that allows it to be washed and dried more often between mopping sessions.
As with other mopping robots such as the Deebot T10, this one has a wash tray in its base, which rinses and dries its mop pads as it utilizes them. But it doesn’t use a removable tray, which means that dirty water, dust and other grime builds up in the bottom of the tray over time.
3. RoboVac X8 Hybrid
While the Anker-owned Eufy is well known in the robot vacuum space This model is the first venture into the world of mopping. It offers enhanced smarts, multiple map support and LIDAR scanning, as well as twin-turbine suction technology that adjusts to the surface you’re cleaning. The Wi-Fi enabled device is controlled best through the Neato App where cleaning schedules are set and maintenance requirements are monitored. The X2 Omni is an excellent choice for homes that have a carpet, hard carpet and flooring, however it requires some planning ahead to avoid getting stuck on electrical cords, toys, or other unexpected obstacles.
The robot performed well in our tests of hardwood floors and kibble. It picked up everything, from a single rice grain to a variety of pet food pieces in only one swipe. It had some difficulty transitioning to carpets, however, this vacuum cleaner is great for large rooms with flooring of all kinds and a mix of pets.
It’s not cheap however, if you are able to afford it, it’s an excellent buy for those who wish to leave their home free to do other tasks or take care of chores. The A4s Pro also offers a useful auto cleaning mode that automatically increases suction power to deal with tough dirt and spills, and is equipped with a battery-powered ElectroWall that allows you to define boundaries where the robot is not allowed to access.
This budget-friendly model from a well-known brand is the most affordable robot we’ve tested yet and offers an incredible value for money. Its navigation system is basic and uses a super-basic random pathing algorithm, but it doesn’t have room mapping capabilities, making it less efficient than the other models on this list. It’s still able to navigate under furniture and into corners. Mopping mode performed well in our tests by picking up hairs and other debris.
5. Shark iQ
Shark’s iQ may not be as sturdy, but it is better at cleaning pet hair from all surfaces. It does a better job of cleaning carpets with low piles as well as floors that are not covered. It also utilizes intelligent-pathing navigational software to improve maneuverability. It can be sent to a particular area and has a suite of advanced automation features, including no-go zones and schedules. It allows you to suspend and restart cleaning sessions making it ideal for homes with pets.

The iQ is good in cleaning floors with no dirt, and is able to do well on carpets with low pile and shaggy edges. However it doesn’t provide the same level autonomy as our top choices. It is also expensive and its monthly costs can add up.
