The Q Revo is a great option if you’re looking to buy an affordable mop and robot vacuum. It’s got a fantastic mopping performance but lacks some of the features of its more expensive sibling.
During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium pile. It does not use LIDAR however, like cheaper models do, to map your home.
1. iRobot Roomba S9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It has impressive cleaning power and numerous features, including a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. This robot can learn your cleaning habits, and recommend automatic schedules that will give you an effortless cleaning experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automatic cleaning functions at the push of the button. You can opt for a general clean that prioritizes getting rid of larger pieces of debris such as rice and cereal or two thorough mappings of your home to ensure your entire home gets a proper look.
This robot vacuum performs well on both floors that are bare and carpets with low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and clean large objects up. It doesn’t lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot promises it will get better in the future with new models.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that concentrates on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It’s the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It’s an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are common however we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, and set up virtual boundaries, so it can recognize areas that need extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vac settings are as effective as those of more expensive models and its mopping system is better still–its spinning pads do a better job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.
The only downside is that it doesn’t have a second rubber brush for more thorough cleaning, but it’s an acceptable cost to pay if want to get one of the best robots available. The dust tank of the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors and filling it up only takes two or three cycles, even when you’ve got a lot of dirt.

The robo-vac is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, picking up dirt from carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It can even remove wet spills, though I recommend cleaning them off with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot in.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum with all the features you could wish for. It has an omni-rotating mop as well as a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It’s similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also comes with self-cleaning bases that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, keeping them germ-free and ready for use again. It also has a sensor system that recognizes obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling on furniture and other objects.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that works even when you’re not at home. It also comes with more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature which allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your house instead of simply following a predetermined route.
The Omni Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we’ve tested, because of its mop pads that rotate to remove tough stains and a motor that generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding as well, and it boosts suction when it detects carpet to ensure it’s doing a thorough job. It is equipped with a large, rechargeable battery that lasts up to seven days. The mopping mode of the robot is also very effective.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and robot vacuum that comes with a variety of convenience features that you aren’t likely to find on robots in this price. It is able to create detailed floor maps and identify various flooring types. It’s also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are great however they can make the L10s more of a luxury category. This might make it more expensive than homeowners need.
Designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish that’s enhanced by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features a large bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner as you move around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front panel, which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the screen, you’ll find a single button that essentially serves as the on/off switch. This button will activate the vacuum. Clicking it again will turn it off and transmit it back to its base station. The control panel includes an oblique menu that lets you choose cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons on the screen will open the settings menu of the app where you can alter the way that the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your home. This allows the robot to mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or small children.
The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hardwood floors and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops also perform well and remove 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile, and wood tests. It wasn’t as effective in removing sand from our hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
