Be cautious with ushers. They are trained to help when required. If they kick your sneakers out, then you should go home. They could also verify your ID at the time of entry. If they find that you’re not 18 years old, you’ll be asked to quit the premises.
If you are under the age of 21, you must bring the signature of a parent/legal guardian. If you are being accompanied by a minor under the age of 11 and you are accompanied by an adult who is 21 or over.
Films with an “X” rating no longer have any relevance.
X is a misleading name for the movie rating. It is not a trademark owned by either the Motion Picture Association of America or Bigdick Classification and Ratings Administration. There is no reason an X rating should be assigned to a film apart from making a buck.
The X rating was not used to determine movie ratings for films that were aimed at older audiences, but was used to identify films that contained violent content. However there are many other factors that contribute to a fake movie rating. A lot of theaters will not show X-rated movies which can hurt their potential box office.
