The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is a great choice if you are looking for a robot mop and vacuum that’s mid-range. It offers a great mopping experience but lacks the features that make up its more expensive sibling.
In tests, it was able remove pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. However, unlike other models, it doesn’t employ LIDAR to help you map your home.
iRobot Roomba s9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It has impressive cleaning power and numerous features that include the self-emptying dirt container built into its charging base. This robot can learn your cleaning habits, and suggest automatic schedules to give you an effortless cleaning experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the push of a button. You can choose an overall clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger pieces of debris like cereal and rice. You can also select two detailed mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.
This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It sucks up large items and does not lose suction as fast as some others do and can clean up pet hair without difficulty. It’s not able to work with carpets that are high-pile or plush, but iRobot claims that future models will be better.
The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It’s the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It’s a nice improvement over the hockey puck-like design of robovacs, but we discovered it to be only marginally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also features a superior filtration system that blocks micro-sized particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It’s a nice premise, however, we’re not convinced it’s enough to justify the high price tag.
Its smart navigation system employs a combination of sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It can then clean your entire home with ease by avoiding obstacles such as stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundary markers, so it knows to avoid areas that require more attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that works even when you’re not at home. It also comes with a smart routing feature that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home, instead of following a predetermined path.
The X2 Omni is the most effective mopping performance of any robot we’ve tested due to its rotating mop pads that clean tough stains away and a motor that produces plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also top-notch, and it boosts suction when it senses a carpet to ensure a thorough cleaning. It also has a massive battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as powerful as anything we’ve seen in an ordinary robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and vacuum robot that comes with a variety of features that you do not often find on robots of this price. It can make detailed floor maps and identify different flooring types. It’s also among the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice, but they also make the L10s more of a luxury category. This could make it more expensive than homeowners need.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It’s tall and slim, with a white finish that is complemented by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which helps protect furniture and vacuum cleaners from damage while moving around the home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane which helps the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the vacuum there is a single button which serves as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can turn it off and transmit it back to its base station. This allows the robot to mop and vacuum efficiently without getting stuck. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and identify them, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.
The L10s Ultra is a powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors and taking out all but stubborn juice stains. The mops are also efficient, clearing 98.4% of debris on our tile, wood, and carpet tests. It wasn’t as effective in removing sand from our hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
