1. Baby Jogger City Tour 2 Double

The City Tour 2 Double is the smallest double stroller within the Baby Jogger range. It’s designed to travel and easily fits through most standard doorways with its ultra-narrow design. It’s also one of the most lightweight double buggies on the market weighing just 14lb when folded. It’s ideal for travel with a toddler and a newborn since you won’t exceed the allowances for luggage on airlines. It can also be folded up to the size of a small travel bag, so you can store it in the back seat of your car.

It’s simple to fold the Z-shape using one hand. Once you get used to it, it’s compact double stroller and only takes minutes. Our tester found the auto-lock somewhat confusing, and because the handlebar doesn’t lock into its position when you push it to the side, it struck her leg when she was using it. She also thought the handlebar was on the shorter side. This is especially the case when a large changing bag hangs from it.

This double stroller isn’t as light as other travel buggies. It’s got a broad range of features, and is one the most versatile double strollers available on the market. It’s compatible with two carry cots (available separately), offers multiple recline positions, and a UV 50+ canopy. You can also add an additional bassinet to either or both seats to create an all-in-one travel system.

The four tires made of rubber are ideal for pavements and urban terrain. However, they are not made for off-roading. Our test participants found that the Nipper Double is incredibly easy to maneuver, even on uneven terrain or when turning in a busy road. They were also impressed by the fact that both seats recline independently, which means they can be adjusted to suit the individual’s needs. This is ideal for napping.

They also appreciated that the hoods could be moved forward and back and back, making them much easier to adjust in the sun or to provide wind protection. Our testers did discover however that they did not provide an extensive amount of coverage when compared to something like the Baby Jogger City Mini hoods and it’s worth packing a rain cover in case of need.

Overall, our testers were impressed with the way that the Nipper Double made it possible for them to take their twin girls Sydney and Lyla to all sorts of adventures, from seeing wildlife in the woods, to rush to the park to play with their friends. The testers were also awed with how spacious and comfortable the two seats are. There is plenty of room to stretch out for growing toddlers. The lack of parent facing seating and the inability to use a car seats with this buggy were noted as a disadvantage by our testers. They would have also preferred a larger storage area to store shopping items and other accessories.
