The seats are very comfortable and double pushchair feature a moulded appearance. The seats can also be adjusted which means they can be positioned according to the needs of siblings. iCandy is the first to introduce a “cinema seating” design that allows parents to keep eye contact with both children. They can be adjusted so that they face the parent or the world.
It’s a heavier tandem buggy however it’s incredibly easy to operate and steer, especially on smooth pavements. It’s stable in single and double mode and even on sloping terrain. It’s not as easy to drive on public transport, however, as it requires more than one hand on the handlebar. It is also bulky and won’t fit in a standard car boot with the seat on, however this can be overcome with careful planning. iCandy has included an infant footmuff and a changing bag included in the price, so this is an excellent value for new parents.

Our test participants found that the Nipper Double is incredibly easy to maneuver, even on uneven terrain or when turning in a busy road. They were also impressed by the fact that both seats recline independently, which means they can be adjusted to suit the individual’s needs. This is ideal for napping.
They also appreciated that the hoods could be moved forward and back and back, making them much easier to adjust in the sun or to provide wind protection. Our testers did discover however that they did not provide an extensive amount of coverage when compared to something like the Baby Jogger City Mini hoods and it’s worth packing a rain cover in case of need.
Overall, our testers were impressed with the way that the Nipper Double made it possible for them to take their twin girls Sydney and Lyla to all sorts of adventures, from seeing wildlife in the woods, to rush to the park to play with their friends. The testers were also awed with how spacious and comfortable the two seats are. There is plenty of room to stretch out for growing toddlers. The lack of parent facing seating and the inability to use a car seats with this buggy were noted as a disadvantage by our testers. They would have also preferred a larger storage area to store shopping items and other accessories.
