The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you are seeking a robot vacuum and mop that is middle-of-the-road. It offers a great mopping experience, but doesn’t have the features that make up its more expensive sibling.
In tests, it was able to take on dust and dry oats on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard flooring. However, like cheaper models, it doesn’t employ LIDAR to map out your home.
1. IRobot Roomba S9+
The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the best-rated robots that vacuum and mop. It has impressive cleaning power and numerous features, including an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. The robot will learn your cleaning habits, and suggest automated schedules that will give you an effortless cleaning experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can start the automated cleaning functions with the touch of the button. You can select an overall clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger particles like cereal and rice. Or you can choose two mappings to ensure that your entire home is completely cleaned.
This vacuum works well both on bare floors and carpets with a low pile. It can take in large objects and does not lose suction as fast as some other models, and it can even clean up pet hair without difficulty. It’s a challenge with high-pile carpets or plush carpets however, iRobot promises that the next models will be better.
The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that is focused on improving edge and corner cleaning. It’s the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It’s a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are standard, but we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.
iRobot also claims that the S9+ has a superior filtering system that blocks tiny dust particles and allergens from recirculating throughout your home. It’s a nice premise, however, we’re not convinced it’s enough to justify the price cost.
Its smart navigation system uses sensors to remember the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles like stairs and other barriers and to clean up your entire house in the most efficient manner possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and set cleaning times, and establish virtual boundary markers, so it knows to avoid areas that require extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vac settings are as effective as those of higher-end models, and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of cleaning your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.
The only drawback is the absence of a second brush for deeper cleaning. However, best robot Vacuum and mop combo it’s not a problem if you want to own one of the best robots on the market. The robo-vac’s dust tank also larger than many of its rivals, and it takes just two or three cycles to fill it, even with the highest dirt level.
In terms of the mopping device, I was impressed with its ability to remove tough dirt from my floors. The two lowest mopping settings, which are less powerful than high-powered settings, produce little noise, so you can work or even watch television without getting distracted. If it comes across a wall or furniture piece it gently bumps into it before moving along.
The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The dock of the robo-vac can be multi-functional and can automatically transfer garbage into a bin hidden. It also washes, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app is adept at nagging you only when something is in need of attention, such as the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled cleaning session having been canceled due to a full dust bin.
You can also design and merge actual rooms to alter the way that Q Revo treats your abode. This feature is useful when you have different flooring in different areas of your home, or in the event that you have to regularly get rid of clutter like toys, clothes, and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was among the top performers in my tests, taking debris from carpets as well as hardwoods in its first run. It can also remove wet spills, though I recommend wiping them dry with a cloth before sending the robot in.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum combo that has all the features you can need. The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that is functional even when you’re not at home. It also comes with a smart routing function that lets it clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a predetermined route.
The X2 Omni is the best robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads scrub away tough stains, and its motor creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent as well, and it boosts suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It comes with a huge, rechargeable battery that lasts up to a week. The mopping mode of the robot is also powerful.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium mop and robot vacuum that comes with a range of features that you don’t often see on robots at this price. It can make detailed floor maps and identify different flooring types. It’s also among the only robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are great but they also make the L10s more of a luxury category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners would need.
The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It’s tall and slim with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has an enormous bumper that shields the vacuum cleaner and furniture as you move around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front panel, which help the L10s Ultra navigate around tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that serves as an on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The center of the control panel has an oblique menu that allows you to select cleaning modes or schedules, as well as preferences.
